आंसुयो मै अक्स है उसका,
मुस्कुराहटों मै ग़म है उसका,

सीने मै खला है वीरान घर उसका,
तड़प मै चुभन है लफ्ज़ उसका,

इंतज़ार न करें तो कया करें उसका !

na hue ghalib to kya hua, sukhan ka hunar hum bhi rakhte hai,

na hue sukhanwar to kya hua ghalib se tawakko hum bhi rakhte hai...
